Volunteering Dreams

Friday night, all my dreams came true.

Dream #1: Volunteer at the fanciest fundraiser you can possibly find.

Dream 1a:  Make sure the fundraiser is in a gorgeous location that makes you feel like you've stepped into a Monaco palace, with fountains and marble columns and candlelight and roses dripping with crystals.

Dream #2:  Dress up fancy and eat a fancy fancy dinner, where the ravioli is topped with four leaf clovers, mash potatoes are served in crepe bundles tied with seaweed, and chocolate comes in the shape of cherry blossom twigs.

Dream #3: Have a first-hand experience with the work of David Tutera.

Dream #4:  Meet the man himself.

Dream 4a: Realize you need to get out in the sun more.

Dream #5:  Be invited to the Prince of Monaco's wedding.

Dream #6: Wear painfully bright blinking blue light volunteer necklaces to give guests seizures and convince them to donate more money.

Dream 6a: Pass out handfuls of bright blinking necklaces to induce more seizures.

Dream #7: Say a million times in one night "No thank you, I don't drink alcohol.  Water is delicious."

Dream #8: Dance the night away.

Dream 8a: Dance so fast, that pictures of you dancing look like a glowing blue ghost.

Dream #9: Be showered in roses.

Dream #10: Make another excellent memory with an excellent friend.

I love it when dreams come true.

JEALOUS. David Tutera! And these pictures have made me convinced that little Gracie looks a LOT like you!

Ash, where is this place?....It looks almost like a princess-moment(except you had to work!)?

It was at the National Building Museum in downtown DC, and it was very princess-y, especially since we spent a total of 15 minutes actually "working" :)
